Victorious!

A 2-0 win against AFC Alcatraz on Sunday keeps the Plough in a great position within the league. The game was challenging for the Plough, who had some adjusting to do due to so many new players this week. These new players consisted of some who decided it was the right time to start showing up (Zaher) while others who decided to give the team a try (Armando, Jose). The first goal came from an indirect kick in the box: after an illegal pass back to their keeper, Victor took the kick and gave the ball a short tap to Tunde, and although AFC Alcatraz had nine players in the box, Tunde somehow found a way to get a goal in, giving a perfectly aimed shot to the top right corner, right past my previous professor's hands. Tunde almost scored again when he took a free kick about thirty yards out, but his shot hit the top post and after a couple follow-up attempts, Alcatraz's defenders eventually got the ball out. A second goal was had when Julio gave a slow (to accommodate for the unpredictable grass) but sharp pass to Mo who hit a hard and precise one touch to the back of the net. Ricky had an amazing game in the goal - his most active game to date. He had some incredibly fast and agile saves and some great punches to deflect Alcatraz's corner kicks.

One of Ricky's amazing saves

Jose shows that he won't be pushed around and Ngong even feels the effects

Z finally shows up!

Armando plays his first game with the Plough, this play resulted in a questionable foul called against him

Wobble dee wobble dee wop - it just seems like the correct caption for this photo

Sorry I didn't capture a shot of your goal Mo, but here's a picture with you in it
